There are several exciting development opportunities at the Colfax and 13th Avenue Stations. The purpose of this project is to update the Fitzsimons-Colfax and 13th Avenue Station Area Plan and prepare a new Urban Renewal Plan for the area. These plans will capture the community's vision and collectively plan for new development and public improvements in this important area of Aurora.

The current plan for the area was adopted in 2009, but we know a lot has changed in the past 15 years! Through an analysis of current conditions and community engagement, the goal is to create and adopt two plans that will reflect the city’s current needs and address land use, transportation, housing, and public improvements.

A draft of the Colfax and 13th Avenue Station Area Plan is available for download and review here.
