Aurora Water is investing in your future by:

  • Expanding Water Sources - Today, Wemlinger treats water from only one source, Rampart Reservoir. This project prepares the facility to treat water from three additional local supplies, including Aurora Reservoir, Quincy Reservoir and Cherry Creek Wells. These additional sources will strengthen the system's reliability and provide more flexibility in how our water supply is managed.
  • Improving Resiliency - Enhancing treatment processes so the facility can better handle seasonal changes in water quality, such as natural algae growth or heavy storm runoff.
  • Modernizing Infrastructure - Replacing aging, equipment and structures to ensure the facility continues operating smoothly and dependably for decades to come.
