Red-tailed Hawk Park is a 35-acre community park located at 23701 E. Hinsdale Way in southeast Aurora. The Aurora Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department (PROS) has launched a master planning process to review current park features and create an updated, cohesive park design to guide future improvements to the park.
Public input is a vital part of this master plan update. Three public meetings will be offered over the course of the master planning process with accompanying survey tools for park users and Aurora residents to share their feedback. The master planning process is expected to begin winter 2023 and be completed in summer 2024. Once the master plan is complete, future construction phasing and timing for implementation will be dependent on budget and staffing.

El Departamento de Parques, Recreación y Espacios Abiertos de Aurora (PROS, por sus siglas en inglés) ha lanzado un proceso de planificación maestra para revisar las características actuales del parque y crear un diseño actualizado y cohesivo para guiar futuras mejoras al parque.

Red-Tailed Hawk Park is an approximately 35-acre community park located at 23701 E. Hinsdale Way in southeast Aurora. A new 9-acre acquisition will be the focus of an updated, cohesive park design to guide future improvements.
A community park provides uses and facilities capable of accommodating larger groups of visitors who come from multiple surrounding neighborhoods. These parks may have active and passive recreation opportunities, and typically are designated to serve an area within a 2-mile radius.
