    How is this project being funded?

    The Colorado Municipal League awarded more than $1.7 million in federal and state funds in 2023 to help fund the replacement of this vehicular bridge, which the city identified as being in poor condition. The Colorado Department of Transportation grant funds are part of its Off-System Bridge Program to pay for the replacement of poor or structurally deficient bridges in counties and municipalities. The city is contributing more than $444,000 to complete the project.

    Is any property being acquired for this project?

    No permanent property acquisition is needed to construct the project. Small areas of temporary construction easement will be acquired to allow driveway work to be completed on private property where the project is impacting them.
