The city of Aurora’s Housing and Community Development Division invites residents to share their input on housing as it prepares the Five-Year Consolidated Plan for 2025–2029. This important plan guides how Aurora invests federal funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to support low—to moderate-income households and enhance the quality of life citywide.
This plan focuses on: • Affordable housing • Homelessness prevention and support services • Community development and neighborhood improvements • Fair housing and equal access
Aurora residents are encouraged to complete the survey below in English or Spanish. The survey is open through Monday, June 30, and can be accessed below or in person at any Aurora Public Library or city recreation center. Please visit our "Key Dates" section on this webpage to learn about other in-person opportunities to share your input.

Your responses are confidential. Your survey cannot be linked to who you are or your place of residence.
The survey is not associated with a ballot issue or political poll.
The survey will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

The Consolidated Plan Draft is published for public review. Residents and stakeholders can provide feedback during a 30-day public comment period and at public hearings.
Final Submission & Implementation

The plan will be revised based on public input and submitted to HUD. Once approved, the city will begin implementation, track progress and report annually through the Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER).
