What is the purpose of this project?
The existing accessibility design in the Paul Tauer Aurora City Council Chamber is original to the Aurora Municipal Center, which opened in 2003. Based on public input and other considerations, the city is evaluating improvements to make the chamber more accessible.

How will any construction work for this project impact City Council meetings?
The majority of work will occur during business hours. Work cannot be phased to keep the chamber open during construction due to the need to remove and protect audio-visual and technology equipment.
