The East Colfax BRT project is designed to improve traffic flow and pedestrian safety along the Colfax corridor from Union Station in Denver to Interstate 225 in Aurora, providing more reliable and frequent bus service.
In Aurora, the East Colfax BRT will be side running in mixed-flow traffic. Some businesses in the construction zone will be impacted by construction-related visibility or access challenges along the Colfax corridor.
To help address these unique disruptions, the city of Aurora is offering a Small Business Support Package as a gesture of support.
This package includes:
$2,000 financial stipend
Access to valuable resources, including:
SBDC Financial Fitness Assessment and one-on-one advising
Green Energy Assessment and Water Efficiency walkthroughs
Security evaluations
Website review and design support
Marketing assistance
Social media and customer-attraction strategies
These resources are designed to strengthen your operations, maintain customer visibility, and support your business resilience during this period of construction.
