Phase 2 Public Accessibility Survey

This survey will help the city of Aurora identify accessibility issues (facilities, services and programs) and specific concerns or critical locations for users of city facilities who are disabled. The city is developing a transition plan to eliminate barriers in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This includes emergency preparedness, parks and recreation facilities, and other city facilities. While study efforts may not immediately result in improvements, the resulting plan will provide the city with clear direction and a roadmap to make accessibility-related accommodations as funding allows.

The ADA Transition Plan development involves a public outreach program in which the city hopes to gain information that will help identify existing areas of concern or potential improvement. This survey can be made available in paper copy, in a larger font size or in audio format. To receive this survey in an alternate format, please contact us at 303.326.8858 or adacompliance@auroragov.org.
