Freedom Park

Freedom Park is a quarter-acre pocket park at 13697 E. 13th Ave. It is the smallest pocket park in Aurora. The city is planning improvements to the park, and residents will have several opportunities to provide feedback, including two ward-wide meetings, a pop-up event and a public presentation of the proposed design.

The previous playground was removed after it reached the end of its useful life and posed safety risks. Today, the park serves as a neighborhood gathering space with a picnic table and shade structure.

The park's small size and existing features, including the narrow sidewalk that separates it from Potomac Street, will help shape the design and determine which amenities can be added.
