Roadway Manual Update

The City is currently working on the Draft 2024 Roadway Design & Construction Specifications manual and is accepting feedback on the manual.

Please submit items for consideration to the email: roadwaymanual@auroragov.org. Feedback will be compiled and evaluated during the 2024 manual update process.

Public outreach will continue throughout the preparation of the draft manual and the draft will be available during a comment review period when it is ready. Check back soon for more information.

The current effective manual is the 2023 Roadway Design & Construction Specifications manual. The effective date of the manual is February 1, 2023.

Applicability: Projects that have been submitted, and accepted by the City for review for at least one review under the site plan process, and are actively being pursued (six months) for approval, will be permitted to use the code adopted under that year. Language has been added to Roadway Manual addressing Applicability.
