Havana Street Corridor Study Improvement Strategies

Thank you to all who provided input during the first public meeting (Sept. 30, 2020), agency and stakeholder charettes (Oct. 27 and 29, 2020), first online survey and one-on-one phone conversations. We paired that input with our existing conditions analysis to refine the vision for mobility on Havana Street, and developed a mobility framework map that may be viewed here. The framework map shows key improvement areas and mobility goals for pedestrian, bike, transit and automobile travel.

A strategy map was developed to identify strategies and various recommended improvements to address mobility needs and goals of each travel mode. Review these strategies in detail here. The recommended strategies also were presented at the second public meeting on Feb. 17, 2021. Review the slide deck presented at that second meeting here.

If you were not able to provide input during the public meeting, we are offering that same opportunity via this survey. Your responses will help the city of Aurora to refine the recommended improvements and select strategies in focus areas to develop into conceptual designs and explore various funding opportunities. Please complete the following survey no later than March 19, 2021. Thank you again for your great support and participation of this important project.
