Get Involved in Making Mobility Better at Fitzsimons
The city, in partnership with the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) and its consultant team, is conducting a study to look at how people get to, from and around the Fitzsimons Urban Center, which includes the Anschutz Medical Campus and the Fitzsimons Innovation Community.
Every day, thousands of people travel to Fitzsimons for work, school, medical appointments, research and other activities. As the area grows, transportation needs are changing.
The study team is looking at parking, transit, walking, biking, safety and traffic throughout the district. We want to understand what works well today and where improvements may be needed.
The Fitzsimons Transportation Study will build on community feedback gathered through the process to develop the city's newly adopted Connecting Aurora Multimodal Transportation Master Plan and support Connecting Aurora's overarching vision, goals and strategies.
The Fitzsimons Transportation Study is funded by DRCOG's Livable Centers set-aside program.
